1  Who we are

EMBODIED LEGACY ARTS LLC provides online education, coaching, and digital products through adelinavaughn.com/adelinavaugh.co (the “Sites”) and the Kajabi platform (the “Service”). This notice explains how and why we collect, use, share, and safeguard your information when you engage with us.

3  Why we use your data

We collect and use personal information to:

  • Deliver services – enroll you in courses, process payments, grant portal access.
  • Send essential notices – receipts, password resets, schedule changes.
  • Improve our offerings – track page views and completion rates to refine content.
  • Market with consent – email you tips, news, and offers you’ve opted into.
  • Comply with the law – maintain tax and accounting records.

 You may withdraw consent or opt out of marketing anytime (see §8).    

4  Sharing data

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with vendors who help run the business, each bound by a data-processing agreement:

  • Kajabi – website & course hosting

  • Stripe/PayPal – payment processing

  • Flodesk – email delivery

  • Google Analytics – site analytics

If we expand the list, we’ll update this page before new processing begins.

5  International transfers

Our headquarters are in the United States of America, and Kajabi’s servers are in the United States. When you visit from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred internationally. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for these transfers.

6  Cookies & trackers

We use first-party (Kajabi) and third-party cookies (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel) to remember preferences and measure traffic. You can refuse cookies in your browser or the banner that appears on first visit. Note: essential cookies remain to keep the Site working.

7  Retention

We keep data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above or to satisfy legal obligations (e.g., tax records for United States = 5 years). Course-progress data is deleted 24 months after your subscription ends unless you request earlier erasure.

8  Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights:

  • Access – ask for a copy of your data

  • Rectification – correct inaccurate data

  • Erasure – “right to be forgotten”

  • Restriction – limit how we use your data

  • Portability – receive data in machine-readable form

  • Objection / Opt-out – stop marketing emails or certain processing

  • “Do Not Sell or Share” (California) – opt out of cross-context behavioural ads

9  Security

We follow industry-standard safeguards—TLS encryption in transit, access controls within Kajabi, regular password changes, and two-factor authentication for staff. No method is 100 percent secure, so please contact us immediately if you suspect a breach.

10  Children

 Our content is directed to adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that a child has provided personal information, we’ll delete it promptly.

11  Changes to this policy

 We may update this notice to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. When we do, we’ll post the revised date at the top and, for material changes, email registered users at least 14 days before it takes effect.
